My two bits

A couple of very chic and intelligent women from my college - Nidhi Varma and Sumana Sethuraman - are on their way to do something interesting for those who never have enough or right clothes and accessories to wear to work. And for that they need insight that only the brilliant women who read this blog can provide. Of course I massaging egos - your and mine :D On a serious note, I have known them for years, and I know these girls mean business when they talk fashion.

Retail "therapy"

Walking into a Lifestyle store in the middle of the first day of sale, cannot be a good thing for my heart. Or my bank balance. I will not need to shop for the next 6 months at least.

Maybe it is time to freeze my cards. Literally. In the fridge. I never do such things. Impromptu shopping trips that I don't necessarily need. Damn! My only sin against gender stereotypes - and now that's gone too!

Man! I feel like a woman :P

Hair raising (?) tale - 2

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Style Behen (ji? It is my style of word play alright?). I am no longer behen ji. At least in terms of hair. Because I finally have what they call a hair style! Hallejullah! Yes, I am excited. You would be too, if you decided to get your already straight hair, straightened and then suddenly you hair got all lazy and lay flat on your head all the time. I have always been plain jane, but this was too much to take even for me.

So it has been decided today. I am style behen. Because someone told me today that I have a style of writing too. I won't mention what she said because I am feeling only moderately narcissistic right now. But it was a compliment that made my day. What? She is someone who knows more about writing than anyone else I know. *gloat gloat*

She is the other lady who totally made my day.
