Rambling

Only R can hear Kun Faya Kun from Rockstar and think DK Bose. Kun faya faya kun faya faya kun kun. DK Bose DK Bose Bose DK. Go figure.

On that note, the Rockstar soundtrack is good but grossly overrated. But "jo bhi main kehna chahun, alfaaz mere barbaad karein" - the best lyrics in recent times. The times of tyaun tyaun.

Also on that note, why is Bollywood churning out such shit? Movies AND music! And why is everyone else going berserk over such mediocre stuff. I mean Bodyguard? RaOne? Really? Chhamak Chhallo? You've got to be kidding me. In hindsight, even Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was pretty mediocre. What those "mantal boyz" were going through was not quarter life crisis. It was just a very serious case of stupidity.

And I am still upset about not being able to watch Rockstar on opening weekend. Because I have a date with Rabbi the same weekend. Live in concert. I am waiting for him to bring back some very stupid but sort of nice memories. That's the thing about the memories. The stupider, the better!

Ah, finally another one who feels that ZMND was over-rated. Thank you! I feel it was just a shallow show of narcissistic rampant indulgence of a bunch of spoilt urban rich guys. Bachelor party at Spain? Gimme a break. Spanish tourism ad too of course.

Hell, or maybe I'am just too serious to be watching movies! :)

Rockstar music is definitely overrated - but like you said, easy on the ears, after the assault that was Chammak Challo.
Rabbi has a new song called Ganga that I loooove. Have fun.
